Broadband World Forum 2014 held in Amsterdam Oct 21-23 at the RAI…………

The Broadband World Forum is the world’s largest broadband event exploring how network innovation is powering the global connected society.

What’s unique about the Broadband World Forum is that we bring senior fixed and mobile telecoms executives together with global IT, media and government innovators to create an exciting and engaging community which meets, interacts and exchanges ideas on the future of our industry.

If it is impacting the future connected consumer, the future internet and the future network, you can find it at the Broadband World Forum.

Our Community

Our global audience comes from all industry stakeholders attached to the building and optimisation of broadband networks, the market disrupting consumer services that flow over them and the political innovators setting global telecoms policy.

With 434 different operator companies in attendance in 2013 and visitors from fixed, mobile and wholesale operators, OTTs, media and content owners, governments and regulators, analysts and press, enterprise and vertical markets and global solution providers, the Broadband World Forum provides one of the industry’s most diverse and wide-ranging communities as a sounding board for future technology.

Unlike other large events, we aren’t just a trade show – we have one of the world’s best service provider and content led conferences alongside our exhibition.

Our morning Keynote speakers are the leading innovators in global telecommunications, with previous speakers from the last 13 years including a who’s who of global C-suite service providers, technology innovators, government representatives and out of the box thinkers.

In the afternoon we split into 5 different rooms to take a deep-dive into the burning issues impacting the industry today, with 2014 seeing sessions on NFV, SDN, the internet of things, big data, IPv6, net neutrality, WebRTC,, LTE Broadcast and 5G to name but a few.

With 372 speakers from across the world in 2013, every year we create one of the most comprehensive conference agendas within telecommunications.

Executive Summit

One of the reasons why we maintain such a high level of C-Suite attendees is due to our yearly Executive Summit.

This interactive invite only and closed-door event delivers superior networking opportunities and guarantees an unrivalled quality of debate amongst our most senior of attendees. Held to Chatham House rules, this is the place where the who’s who from the global telecoms, IT, media and government stakeholders come together to talk, debate and challenge the status quo.

Bringing Connectivity to Life

For 2014 we are bringing you more live demonstrations and more product launches on our exhibition floor – stuff you can really get your hands on, see live in action and get under the skin of how the latest technology works. With an event long product launch area and live demonstration tours, 2014 is the year we bring connectivity to life.

The Broadband Infovision awards are a sign of true innovation and are a highly sought after honour within the industry.
