How do you spell compatibility?

Technology has undoubtedly made dating more accessible in many ways…..

According this morning Wall Street Journal article about “Words-with-Friends”; the online game could be a new online dating service. As internet dating sites gain in popularity; so does the amount of riffraff that join them. There isn’t much by the way of verifying data on most of these dating sites. Did they really go to that School? Did she really win the all girls volleyball tournament 2 years in a row; did he really run 3 triathlons’? However, there is something to be said about having a talented tongue; better yet, an enhanced sense of vernacular can motivate a prospective partner, and can be a nice way to engage in a game of intellects.

A cunning linguist can be considered in some circles to be more athletic than cross training and posting on your dating profile that you climbed the Grand Canyon last year (twice) is a bit easier than spelling cynic, syzygy  or antidisestablishmentarianism (I had to look that one up)

Since not everyone is looking for that master debater; the online gaming sites such as Chat Roulette, and others will probably still appeal to the less than cerebral types or those pretending not to be as they are engaging primarily to find a hookup.

Are gone the days of offering to buy a woman a drink at the bar? Looks like it’s R, S,T, L, N and  yes, I’d like to buy you a vowel. Maybe there are those who just enjoy a nice game of scrabble.

I wonder if Newt is out there is celebrating Valentine’s Day by trying to play a random opponent?
